The Pursuit S 2.8 upright exercise bike is the basic model by Weslo. It's a pretty simple machine, but it looks very charming with the metalic blue-green parts and details.

The first thing that catch the eye is the beautifully designed console.The similar computer console you'll find on several other Weslo stationary bikes too. Unlike most of the fitness exercisers which have heart rate sensors built into handlebars, on this cycle the HRM sensor is built right into the console. The LCD display tracks your revolutions per minute, time, speed, distance, and calories burned.

The seat of this model is beautifully designed too. Unlike the console it is not quite functional. We apologize to the Weslo engineers, but we have to remain objective in our reviews. The seat is poorly padded making the bike very uncomfortable. You have to put a pillow on it when riding.

The Pursuit S 2.8 bike is equipped with a smooth, frictionless silent magnetic resistance. It is a manually adjusted system. The resistance knob is located below the console so you can quickly adjust the tension without interrupting your pedaling.

The frame is stable and sturdy enough to support users up to 250 pounds. It has built-in transport wheels. so you can easily move the bike from room to another with the convenient.

Drawbacks: Hard seat. Poor 90-day warranty.
