Like all new NordicTrack's exercise bike models, the GX 4.7 also belongs to the series of iFit compatible exercise machines. The backlit console is also compatible with iPod and other MP3 players.

As mentioned several times on this website, the bikes that come from NordicTrack are designed for an occasional home use. These machines are designed for selling in large department stores. It means they have to be shiny and attractive. If you really want to know is any machine worth the money, look at its warranty. Although the GX 4.7 comes with a lifetime frame warranty (which can be broken only if you drop it down from 3 floor), its poor 1-year warranty on parts and labor tells more than all of the glossy, attractive new features. Although the GX 4.7 would do the job for any average residental user, I would rather go with the Sole Fitness R92 (as the cheapest model within the Sole's recumbent bike series).
