The Stamina 1305 exercise bike is a nice looking bike. Simple and elegant. Unusually for the cycling machines at this price point, it is equipped with a great cushiony seat. A quick seat adjustment and perfect pedal positioning make the ride very comfortable. But the sounds are something that will wake you up from the dream of the perfect and cheap bike. Everything is great when pedaling moderately, but if you want to go harder and more forceful, it starts squeaking. The unpleasant sounds were coming from the wheel and chain.
The console that comes on the Stamina CPS 1305 is pretty simple. It has an LCD display with large, easy-to-read numbers and just one button. It tracks your time, speed, distance and calories burned. It uses two AA batteries to operate. The display will turn off when the unit is not active for 4 minutes, so you won't run down the battery by forgetting to turn it off.
Drawbacks: see below.
Conclusion: The Stamina CBS 1305 indoor cycle is a little noisy, beautiful looking, fancy bike with excellent ergonomics. The bike itself is sturdy and comfortable, but many complaints have been made on the wheel/chain loudness and the quality of the small but vital parts including pedals and tension straps. Anyhow, you get exactly what you pay for. Personally I'd rather add a bit of money to my budget and buy an exercise bike with a better resistance system.
