The LifeCycle R1 is an entry level model within the Life Fitness recumbent bike series. But, it doesn't mean it is a basic machine, at all. The LifeCycle R1 comes with an ultra-smooth, maintenance-free Eddy-current resistance system. Except it is designed as a recumbent bike, by features it is pretty similar to the Life Fitness C1 upright bike. By quality, it can be compared with some of the excellent Diamondback recumbent bikes, which are much cheaper.

Besides capabilites, a main difference between these two consoles is in their ability to interact with different devices (Android smartphones, tablets, Apple devices, etc). The Go Console is more basic computer equipped with a blue LCD screen. It offers 2 user profiles, 14 built-in plus 2 custom workouts, for 2 user profiles. The advanced Track+ Console interacts with popular fitness apps. It comes with 14 built-in workouts, but it gives you 12 custom workouts and 4 user profiles.
